The EDIT is once again supporting the design community by providing a showroom and a valuable collection of objects from brands such as HAY, &Tradition, and Muuto. Together with Art Director and Stylist Iulia Circei, participants will use various stacking methods to reinterpret common objects into visual compositions that can be appreciated as sculptural objects from different angles. We will use this creative technique to explore composition, texture, color, and storytelling in a controlled setting. The aim of the workshop is to play with proportion and structure to reconsider perceptions of space, materiality, and objects. The workshop will consist of two parts: a theoretical part in which participants will be given an introduction to still life, working methods, and case studies; and a practical part in which each participant will create a composition that will be photographed in a controlled environment.
